On Friday of last weekend, I bought two tickets of an amount of about $1650.00 completely on Faith that I would be able to go to Japan for the Fall 2012 Semester. Only the day before, I had applied last minute for the Student Gov Travel Scholarship. I felt strongly in my spirit that this was the right thing to do; that I was meant to go to Japan this Fall even though I had applied to go for the Spring of 2013. Ever since 8:00am on Friday morning, the night after I sent in the scholarship to be viewed at 10:00am that very morning, I had been trying with every fiber of my being to purchase tickets for Japan, but doubt kept holding me back. Finally, God told me very distinctly that I needed to go to Youth Group that night. I obeyed and found that the message was on knowing God's dream and design for your life, and submitting to it. At that moment, I knew I had to buy those tickets; scholarship or not, God would provide. It wasn't until 11:30pm that night that I finally did push that button on Webjet.com.

As promised.... I got this email from my coordinator only days later. How great is our God:

April 24, 2012

Congratulations! You have been awarded a ISEP Exchange Scholarship for the Fall 2012 / Spring 2013 semesters in the amount of $2000.00, provided by the Student Government. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

... etc etc.

There was a lot more in the email, but I censored it out for the internet's sake. I love you guys, though!

Once again, how great is our God! I'm going to Japan, everyone!!! I'M GOING TO JAPAN!!!!
