They're Back...

So I woke up this morning and my mind was literally bombarded by these two, my original characters, Virus(left) and Life(right). And the reason that I was surprised was because I literally haven't drawn these two in a whole YEAR! No joke.

Finally, I realized that it was my own dang fault. I was trying to pry a story onto them, giving them one-dimensional personalities and all that, without appreciating them for who they are, regardless of their story. In fact, their original story WASN'T BAD! I liked it, really.

So yah, I've been having the urge lately (as you've seen with Ezra) to go back to the start. And you know what? Once I did, they came back! And I started having all these insights into their personalities once again. (a lot into Life, especially) Since Life's original personality was NOT spazzy and dumb, it was actually very wise(in natural things. Not really the 'ways of the world') and calm. And he could be serious when he wanted to. And he didn't always talk about himself in third person either. And Virus... well, most of what I've seen of him is his motivations and struggling to come to terms with himself. Such as the fact that he really doesn't have feelings, or at least, he's not supposed to and yet... there are many things that he does that seem to act on emotion.

Anyway, that's just to name a few.

In this picture, I specifically wanted to capture those aspects of their original personality into their original style, the only difference being that I used my tablet to draw it. I also was trying my best to keep their faces as similar as possible. They ARE twins, after all. ^^
